This role involves providing 1:1 care to an individual living in their family home. The person you’ll support has Congenital Nemaline Rod Myopathy, Osteoporosis, and Neuromuscular Kyphoscoliosis with Kyphosis, but their conditions don’t define them. Your role will focus on enriching their life through engaging activities, compassionate care, and fostering independence.
Key Responsibilities
As a Female Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for the individual you support. Your duties will include:
- Delivering high-quality, person-centered care tailored to the individual’s needs.
- Supporting with tracheostomy and ventilator care and other complex care tasks.
- Engaging in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and well-being.
- Assisting with community outings to encourage independence and engagement.
- Helping with household tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
- Communicating clearly and confidently in the individual’s preferred way to build trust.

- Complex care, including tracheostomy and ventilator management.
